Horizontal Discharge Elevating Prefeeders

The EH (elevating, horizontal) series prefeeder handles a wide range of product sizes and shapes to effectively meter product from floor level up, then a horizontal belt takes the product over existing equipment (if needed), to gently deposit the parts into the feeding application. The hopper ranges from 8 cubic feet to 50 cubic feet. The cleated, table-top chain on the elevating conveyor pulls product up from the hopper well and carries it to the upper head. The pulley system allows for the cleated conveyor to traverse in a horizontal way, essentially lowering the height requirements to reach the discharge location of the feeder, or to be able to span long distances due to floor space restrictions.

An optional “dump” door on the hopper allows for quick and easy product removal when cleaning is required, or for product changeover. Upgrades are available for many food and pharmaceutical applications as well. Belt speeds will vary based on the customer’s requirements and motor controller.

EH-35:50

EH-35/50 Prefeeder

This prefeeder allows the discharge to be closer to the bowl when reaching over existing equipment, but allowing for a gentle release of parts into an unscrambler bowl, eliminating the potential scuffing or scraping of parts.

EH-08/15/25 Prefeeder

Using a modular, plastic, cleated chain to vertically and horizontally transport parts, the EH-08 series prefeeder allows the discharge to be closer to the bowl, eliminating potential scuffing or scraping of parts while being able to reach over existing equipment.
