The LB series overhead prefeeder has a capacity range of one (1) cubic foot to six (6) cubic feet, and works well with smaller parts feeders, or when lower feed rates are needed. The high friction live-bottom conveyor belt pulls product out from the bottom of the hopper through a hopper floor and into the discharge chute. The hopper can be adjusted to restrict part flow as necessary, and belt speeds can be adjusted through a variable speed motor drive. Average belts speeds are around 23.00 inches per minute. These prefeeders are particular good at handling small, intricate parts that may nest, or need an even, slow metering into the feeder bowl below. They are easily adaptable to meet your pharmaceutical requirements.
